Dr Karen Prior

Dr Karen Prior commenced her medical career in the UK before moving to Australia with her family in 2014. She is now pursuing a career in General Practice and enjoys all aspects of medicine, including preventative healthcare and chronic disease management.

Karen has a special interest in contraception and sexual and reproductive healthcare and is currently working towards her Graduate Diploma in Child Health.

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
• Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG)
• Diploma of Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH)
• Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Certification in Intrauterine Contraceptive Device insertion, Contractive Subdermal Implant insertion, and Menopause Care
