Dr Paul Dalrymple

Dr Paul trained at Imperial College of Medicine in London and qualified in 1990. He was commissioned into the British Army in 1987 and served for 16 years, retiring in 2003 as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his Army career, he trained as a General Practitioner while completing operational tours to Northern Ireland, Germany, Canada, and Brunei.

After leaving the Army, Dr Paul emigrated to Australia with his family. He settled and worked in Horsham, Victoria, and later Albury Wodonga. He became an Australian Citizen in 2009. Dr Paul moved to South Australia in 2015 and is staying here for good in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but values more than anything developing a close therapeutic relationship with his patients. He is qualified in community paediatrics, family planning and antenatal care, as well as performing minor surgical procedures. In 2000 he completed a Masters Degree in General Practice. He also has an interest in asthma. This year he has started a Certificate in musculoskeletal medicine and hopes to develop skills in this important area of medicine.

When he is not working, Dr Paul loves attending his local gym and keeping fit. His other passion, of course, is his shed and learning how to maintain his home here in Mount Barker
