Dr Caitlin Sum
Dr Caitlin Sum is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and attained her RACGP Fellowship in 2018. She enjoys the challenges of treating patients across all ages and in all stages of health in a collaborative and non-judgemental manner. She is particularly interested in the perinatal period and assisting families with sleep, settling, feeding and adjustment to parenthood. Dr Sum is a trainee lactation consultant and a mum to two young children. She has also gained valuable additional experience working with expecting and new families through her previous roles at Torrens House, a residential sleep, settling and breastfeeding support service and as a Medical Officer in the Department of Obstetrics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
She is also a member of the Primary Care Education Advisory Committee for Kidney Health Australia and, as such, has a special interest in kidney health.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
- Diploma in Child Health
- Focused Psychological Strategies - Level 2
